Make the Road - Deportation Defense Manual
This manual provides information about your rights when interacting with immigration enforcement, what you should do to prepare, and how to mobilize your community for support.

Legal Services NYC
Provides support in multiple areas in addition to immigration resources. All their services are free & open to anyone that lives in NYC. They have offices across all 5 of the NYC boroughs and can provide support in many different languages.

UnLocal
Provides support for folks in deportation proceedings. They also have a dedicated program for undocumented LGBTQ+ immigrants seeking legal support. Contact: [email protected]

Legal Aid Society
Provides urgent immigration support to low-income undocumented folks. They also have legal aid support in other areas such as housing. If you need immediate help, please call the Immigration Law Unit Helpline: 844-955-3425.

Immigration Equality
Provides direct legal aid support to LGBTQ+ asylum seekers. Immigration Equality’s services are free regardless of your status. They partner up with an accredited attorney in their network to support their clients.

Red Cards - ILRC
The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) created a series of cards in 14 languages to make sure people know their rights and can defend themselves in situations, such as when ICE agents go to a home. Go to the site to request cards or print your own.

The IRLC has put together a family preparedness plan resource document to help reduce the stress of the unexpected. The document can help any family regardless of immigration status, but includes advice for immigrant families

CUNY Citizenship Now
CUNY Citizenship Now is an organization within CUNY that provides free and confidential legal counseling to anyone who lives in New York City. They can also refer you to other organizations if they don't specialize in your specific needs.
